Careys were awarded a range of work by Sir Robert Mc Alpine Ltd on this £550m Public Finance Initiative Scheme.

Contracted initially to construct the basements and reinforced concrete podium slabs to two buildings circa 7,000m². Further works included Design & Build contracts for the construction of 3 multi storey car parks, totalling 750 spaces, and a sports pavilion. Other packages awarded included substructure and infrastructure works. These works included the demolition of existing barracks, the installation of the drainage; gas and water services; telecom and electrical ducting. Also 22,000m² of cement bound material was laid along with extensive hard landscaping works including 100,000m² of PQ surfacing, bituminous roads, footpaths, reinforced grass and street furniture.
