Working for Mace on the Paddington Basin Redevelopment, Scudders undertook the demolition and clearance on this project. The works on this high profile site in an inner city environment included the demolition of an eight storey reinforced concrete framed warehouse, previously used by Selfridges, and a high rise residential block. The scope also included surveys and the removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials, and on-site processing (recycling) of the 20,000 m3 concrete arisings.
